Der Kalif betrachtete den Gefangenen näher und sagte: »Ala hatte ein weißes Gesicht und dieses ist schwarze Djafar erwiderte: »Weißt du nicht, dass der Tod schwarze Flecken hervorbringt?« Als aber der Kalif hierauf den Gehängten vom Galgen nehmen ließ und auf seinen beiden Fersen die Namen Abu Bekr und Omar fand, sagte er: »O Wesir! "structure" is a relatively simple concept. As a category of knowledge, it relates to the idea of "building" (Latin "struere", to build). This means that structural knowledge deals in wholes —as a building is a whole— but in a special way. Structural knowledge perceives wholes as organized combinations of mutually connected or dependant parts or elements. The character of the whole exists in the relations of its constituent parts, and each part contributes to the shape of the whole by virtue of its distinct role in a definite arrangement ..
